Rebecca initially taught veterinary nursing and animal management before moving into pure biology. She has taught in FE colleges in both England and Wales, before working in the Education Department at Cardiff University, followed by running a large science department in a Cardiff tertiary college. Rebecca has worked as an Additional Inspector for the Welsh Inspectorate, Estyn, since 1993. She came to Cardiff Sixth Form College to work full time in April 2015, where she is responsible for the teaching, learning and assessment of all students. Rebecca also acts as a bridge between Cardiff and the other Dukes Colleges and Schools, particularly at Key Stage 5. Outside of school life, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family in France, cycling, running and long walks.
