Extra-Curricular

Students at Cardiff Sixth Form College take part in a wide variety of clubs, House activities, annual celebrations and social events.  Some of these activities are led by staff; others are run by the students themselves.  Students are welcome to join in existing clubs or start new ones if they have a particular passion or interest.

Developing leadership skills and working as part of a team are key skills for university and running events, working together with others, learning new skills and developing existing competencies is vital both in and outside the classroom.

Taking part in extra-curricular clubs and activities is not only extremely enjoyable it gives students the chance to make new friends in different year groups and benefit from a more rounded curriculum.

Some of our most popular social events include our Chinese New Year celebrations, Halloween Party, Christmas and Graduation Balls, meals out, cinema evenings and weekend trips to enjoy the local countryside.
