Mock Interview Practice

Most of the top universities require students to attend an interview (or interviews), depending on the subjects they wish to study.

The purpose of the interviews is to work out which candidates they would like to make offers to, to ascertain a candidate’s interest in the course, determine what they can offer the university and their aptitude to studying effectively at their institution.  All Cardiff students receive mock interview practice, working both individually and in groups to improve communication skills and body language, learn how to present relevant information, practice answers to likely questions and consider the questions they would like to ask the universities themselves.  Interview practice is scheduled both internally (Teacher Interview Days) and externally with Oxbridge Applications for formal mock interviews.
