Visas and Immigration

All international students coming into the UK to study require a Child Student visa and must provide evidence of a valid secure English Language test.  To satisfy both requirements:

The test must be taken at an IELTS test centre which is specifically authorised by the UK Visa and Immigration.

You must choose Academic UKVI, not the general training module and achieve 5.0 for two year GCSE, 5.5 for one year GCSE and 6.5 for A Level entry.  Students achieving IELTS 6.0 will be considered for August Pre-Sessional entry to the College on successful passing of their College entrance examinations.

Those who do not need to meet the UKVI IELTS requirements include:

Non-visa nationals.  (EU and UK citizens living permanently overseas are only required to meet the College’s requirement, therefore can sit either UKVI or non-UKVI version of IELTS).

Citizens of predominantly English-speaking countries – please click here for list.
