Students recently had fun taking part in a karaoke night with both boarding and day students taking the mic. Every song was sung loudly and proudly by everyone to the point where the microphones were virtually rendered pointless, despite being turned up to the max!
This made for a great atmosphere with everyone very enthusiastic, there was encouragement to sing in groups so even students on the shyer side were getting up and giving it a go.
Many of the international students were keen on sharing their culture, performing a couple of Chinese songs so songs were sung in more than one language. It was a fantastic evening all in all – I think we have some future stars at our college.
