Cardiff Sixth Form College will be holding its annual Careers Fair on Tuesday 4th April 2017 at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel on Newport Road, giving students the opportunity to meet with some of the UK’s top universities.
Around 30 different universities will be exhibiting at the Fair including the University of Oxford, London School of Economics, Imperial College London, the University of St Andrews, Durham University, Lancaster University and University College London; all listed within the Complete University Guide’s Top 10 UK Universities for 2017.
Although many bigger HE fairs don’t give students the chance to connect with universities on a personal level, our Careers Fair will provide options for students to meet with university admissions teams on a one-to-one basis.
Furthermore, students will be able to attend presentations delivered by selected universities, about applications and admissions processes.
In previous years, our Careers Fair has only been open to Cardiff Sixth Form College students. This year, however, we have decided to open the event up to all students within the local community.
Admission is free of charge, but due to the popularity of the event, we will be limiting the number of attendees at any one time. For this reason, you must register your attendance for this event by choosing a single time slot of either 9.30am, 11am, 1.30pm or 3pm.
By attending the Careers Fair, students from both CSFC and surrounding schools/colleges will benefit from the opportunity to discuss their career aspirations with different universities, prior to beginning their UCAS applications in September.
