CSFC students get to grips with politics in Westminster and Cardiff Bay

Posted: 15th March 2016

Students from Cardiff Sixth Form College have enjoyed a master class in the legislative process in Westminster and Cardiff Bay.

The session aimed to help students to understand how laws are made in the Senedd, the home of the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff Bay, and the Houses of Parliament at the Palace of Westminster in London.

During the trip, the students met Liz Price from the Houses of Parliament Outreach Service at Westminster and Tom Jackson, Head of Policy and Legislation Committee Service at the National Assembly for Wales.

The event was sponsored by Cardiff Sixth Form College and organised by Gorwel, an independent, non-party Welsh think tank which aims to improve the delivery of public services and economic prosperity in Wales.
