Each year, students from many schools and colleges join together to compete in the NASA Space Settlement Design Competition. Students must form groups and design all aspects of a space settlement including initial layout, orbit, food and many other features. This process is demanding, requiring well thought out strategies, an in depth knowledge of physics, engineering and maths and extensive teamwork. Once again, we are proud to report Cardiff Sixth Form College students made up members of the winning settlement design – Grumbo.
