Laura Foster joined the College in 2017 in the role of UCAS Coordinator. Before specialising in applications to UK universities, she worked in higher education as a researcher and teacher of undergraduate English Literature. Her PhD, completed in 2014, focuses on nineteenth-century literature and culture and has formed the basis of her subsequent publications. In the College, Laura provides advice and guidance to students about competitive university applications and career aspirations. She supports students in their employability development through devising and leading workshops on transferable skills in addition to advising students about how to best reflect upon their experiences to optimise their personal statements and interview responses. Laura is currently completing a Level 6 diploma in Career Guidance and Development.
