Kate has been working in international education for over eight years, successfully providing support to students in applying to top universities around the world, writing personal statements and preparing for university interviews. Kate has been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), International Baccalaureate MYP English, IELTS and TOEFL exam preparation. She has a passion for digital education tools and has been developing courses for virtual learning environments and facilitating the transition to distance learning. Before joining the staff at Cardiff Sixth form College Cambridge, Kate worked in the top IB school in the world.
Kate has a strong academic background with a Master of Science (MSc) degree with distinction in Applied Linguistics for Language Teaching from the University of Oxford and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Exeter where she was a recipient of the Exeter MBA Women’s Global Impact Scholarship. Kate also holds an unconditional offer from the University of Cambridge to complete a Master of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership.
