Congratulations to Morgan and Arsha from Rubin House for winning the Inter-house Debating Competition which took place during Enrichment week. They faced tough competition with a record 20 teams entering the competition this year.
Runners up in the finals were: Siya and Lili from Parry House; Xuanru and Sylvana from Atkins House; Aparna and Anna also from Atkins House.
They faced some challenging motions set by this year’s Debate Society Committee, such as: This House Regrets The Belief That Technology Firms Will Solve The Climate Crisis.
The Debate Society Committee also should be congratulated on their excellent organisation and high standard of judging of this debate.
