What Maya said about her role:
As the Youth MP for Cardiff, I represent the interests of young people across the city through my involvement with Cardiff Youth Council. I talk to local decision makers and advocate for youth priorities such as mental health support and education, working collaboratively on campaigns to create meaningful change. As the elected MP in Cardiff, I was proud to represent Cardiff in the House of Commons sitting, where we discussed housing, crime, employment, health and sustainability in five different debates.
