After an extensive application and selection process the Cardiff Sixth Form College senior management team have this week announced the group of students who will form the Prefect Team for the 2021/22 academic year.
Congratulations to Sylvana, Amit, Akash, Karen, Farida, Griff, Ovyaa, Wan Nee, Zorian, Huwaida and Isaac.
Each prefect selected will be given a specific area of leadership for throughout the academic year and will help to oversee students in other areas of responsibility.

Akash Akash is a day student at Cardiff Sixth Form College and is a part of Morgan House. Akash will work alongside the new Digital Leaders in the school. |

Amit Amit is a day student at Cardiff Sixth Form College and is a member of Wallace House. Amit will assist with overseeing the newly elected Equality, Diversity and Inclusion officers. |

Farida Farida is a boarding student from Nigeria and is a member of Rubin House. Farida will be teaming up with fellow prefect Karen to work with the 2021/22 Boarding Reps and Boarding Buddies, four students have been elected as Boarding Representatives alongside a number of Boarding Buddies spread throughout the boarding houses. |

Griff Griff is a day student at Cardiff Sixth Form College who is a part of Franklin House in school. Alongside Ovyaa, Griff will work with the A2 Local Reps who will be on hand to guide our new local AS and GCSE students as they transition in to life at Cardiff Sixth Form. |

Huwaida Boarding student Huwaida is from Malaysia and is a part of Franklin House in school. Huwaida will lead the Wellness Officers in their work during the upcoming academic year. |

Isaac Isaac is a boarder at Cardiff Sixth Form from Hong Kong and belongs to Franklin House. Isaac will work alongside the two students in the new student position of Events Coordinators. |

Karen Karen is a boarding student from Hong Kong and is part of Franklin House. Karen will be teaming up with fellow prefect Farida to work with the 2021/22 Boarding Reps and Boarding Buddies, all working together to make sure new students settle in well to the boarding house and boarding runs smoothly between students and House Parents. |

Ovyaa Ovyaa is a day student and is in Rubin House at Cardiff Sixth Form. Alongside Griff, Ovyaa will work with the A2 Local Reps who will be on hand to guide our new local AS and GCSE students as they settle in to life at Cardiff Sixth Form. |

Sylvana Sylvana is from Hong Kong and is part of Atkins House at Cardiff Sixth Form College. Sylvanas role within the Prefect Team will be to assist the House Captains and help liaise between the Heads of House and their House Captains. Each House at Cardiff (Atkins, Franklin, Morgan, Parry, Rubin, Seacole, Wallace) will have two A2 students acting as House Captains. Congratulations to these students who also had to apply for the positions. |

Wan Nee Wan Nee is a boarder in Cardiff from Malaysia and is part of Atkins House. As a Prefect Wan Nee will work alongside the 2021/22 Community Officers. |

Zorian Zorian is a boarding student from Ukraine and is a part of Seacole House. Zorian started at Cardiff Sixth Form as a GCSE student in 2019 and therefore it is no surprise he would be the perfect Prefect to oversee our GCSE Reps for the 2021/22 academic year. |
