New UCAS Programme Announced

Posted: 2nd April 2021

The CSFC Careers & HE Department is delighted to announce the launch of registration for our esteemed August UCAS Programme. Running from 18th – 27th August 2021, this intensive programme will see students work with expert tutors to develop a top-quality university application. Following the success of last year’s virtual format, which made the programme accessible to all students, we have responded to feedback and will be again running this as an online programme. Students all over the world will therefore be able to participate in the programme while still enjoying the last of the summer at home with their families. Most pleasingly, thanks to the online format, this year’s UCAS programme has also been extended by a day, at no additional cost! This year’s cohort will benefit from 8 days of tailored guidance and support, giving them a great head-start on applications before commencing A2 study.

Testimonials from attendees of the 2020 UCAS Programme:

‘The programme was really enriching, thank you so much Dr Foster and Miss Bendle and all the tutors!’

‘The best bit about the programme was the dedicated help I received from my tutor, other tutors and the staff. I also found discussions very interesting and thought-provoking.’

‘I liked being able to get advice and insight from students from my dream course and university’.

‘The best part was the mock interviews I did in the 1-1 sessions, as they familiarized me with the interview format and I became more confident about virtual interviews. The “PS refining” process in the 1-1 sessions were really useful too, as my tutor gave me helpful feedback and advice everyday as I continuously refined my PS. I enjoyed the university fair as well as it saved us lots of time by allowing us to chat to students from different unis without having to attend all individual uni open days! I’m really grateful as all tutors were really friendly and helped me know much more about their uni!’

Registration is open now and students can request a form by emailing
