The British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) is the premier Physics competition in the United Kingdom which students from Cardiff Sixth Form College compete in annually. The BPhO aims to encourage the study of Physics and recognise excellence in young physicists through ten annual Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics competitions.
This year, nine CSFC students achieved medals. The students achieved six Bronze, two Silvers and one Gold award, the students did remarkably well considering the supreme challenge presented by the competition.
Special mention should go to Minghong for achieving a Gold medal despite being in only his first year of the Physics A-level.
Congratulations all!
