New Cardiff Debate Team Announced

Eight new students, Aviral, Ellie, Danielle, Joshua, Mithan, Karine, Siani and Jane have been announced as the new Cardiff Sixth Form College debate team for 2020 – 2021.  To apply for a place, candidates had to write a letter of application and attend an online interview with the outgoing committee.  The outgoing Debating Society Committee faced a tough challenge in selecting their successors as the applicants were of a high standard.  Thank you and congratulations to the successful applicants and a big thank you to the outgoing committee – President Mohammad, Alan, Claire, Arianne, Iwan and Daian – for the excellent job they have done in running the debate society, training novice debaters and developing the confidence, thinking and speaking skills of all who took part.
