Four Debating Teams Travel to Birmingham University Schools’ Debating Competition

Four teams from the College’s debating society travelled to Birmingham university to participate in their prestigious annual Schools’ Debating Competition. For several of the team this was their first experience of entering such a challenging event after only a few weeks of developing their debating skills. They are to be congratulated on their performance in the debates on topics ranging from; “This House Believes Extinction Rebellion UK should practise targeting polluting corporations rather than government” to “This House Believes automation is a net positive for the world”.
