Top of the league tables school for the past nine years, Cardiff Sixth Form College, has recorded its best A*-B results for A Levels since 2015 and grades are up a staggering 3% increase on last year’s results.
The number one school in the UK has again performed outstandingly with 89.68% of its students gaining A*-A grades and 99.19% gaining A*-B. A*-A results are also up 1% on last year’s figures.
“We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s A Level results and the truly outstanding grades that our students have managed to achieve” said Cardiff Sixth Form Principal, Gareth Collier. “What we aim to do at Cardiff is to really stretch bright young people through inspirational academic teaching with lots of one-to-one support, a super curricular programme of academic societies, lectures and tutorials as well as top class careers guidance and work placement schemes so that they can reach their potential.
“This year we have put in a lot of reforms to our A Level timetables and structure to enable our students to excel academically and it has really paid off. Here at Cardiff we are not frightened of change and are always aiming for excellence. This is giving the school a tremendous reputation, not just in the UK, but all around the world.”
