The Debate Club Committee are to be congratulated for organising an extremely successful inter-house debate which saw 16 teams [32 students] take part. The format was British Parliamentary with two rounds plus a semi-final and then a final.
It proved excellent preparation for forthcoming University debates. The finalists were: Danielle, Tanisha, Bertha, Jason, Fran, Liza, Buraq and Ziya. A huge congratulations to Danielle and Tanisha from Wallace House who were declared the winning team. Danielle also took the award of best speaker of the day.
A massive congratulations to everyone that took part and it was certainly a challenging day.
