Congratulations to Arianne Banks who took the award of best individual speaker in this year’s regional round at Aberdare proposing the motion: “This house would end all programmes aimed at preserving endangered languages”.
Paul Dugdale is also to be congratulated for his individual speech opposing the motion: “This house believes social media has done more harm than good to democracy”. Unfortunately there could not be two first places but it was certainly a close competition.
Congratulations also to James Sayce and Elis Golding who took the prize of Outstanding Team opposing the motion: “This House Would Make Voting Compulsory”.
