Yesterday CSFC welcomed Chinese University Hong Kong representatives Annie and Francis to the College to speak to our AS and A2 students about the fantastic selection of 70 programmes on offer, and gave great advice on how to make your personal statement stand out to Admissions staff. The aspiring Medical students in the audience were thrilled to gain advice on how to sell themselves to CUHK by writing a 250 word statement to support their application for Medicine based courses.
CUHK ran through their US-style ‘major and minor’ degree structure and four year courses, in addiiton to the newly available ‘Double Degree’ on offer. Many thanks to Annie and Francis for taking the time to pass on their insider knowledge to our students, and well done to Head of Careers Miss Bendle for organising the event. It was wonderful to hear in Principal Mr Collier’s speech at the end that Annie’s own daughter is a former alumni of CSFC, and proceeded to study Medicine at CUHK!
