Thanks once again to the sponsorship of Cardiff Bay Rotary Club, CSFC student Berta has had the opportunity to interview Lord Touhig, a former Defence Secretary on the subject of the need for Britain to increase our defence capacity.
Berta is to be congratulated on the interesting and probing questions she posed, gaining her third place overall in the competition. This challenging competition has had many prestigious guests over the years, including Lord Kinnock, Anne Widdecombe and Lord Murphy of Torfaen. The Rotary organisation is to be congratulated also for its objective to provide young people with the opportunity to develop skills of analysis, presentation and cross examination by questioning a public figure on an issue of current interest. Well done Berta, you certainly presented all of these skills on the night.
