On Saturday 4th November three teams from the College crossed the border to take part in Birmingham University’s Schools Debating Competition. The three teams of novice debaters faced strong opposition from schools such as Westminster, St Paul’s Girls in London and Repton. They agreed that they learned from this challenging experience which developed their thinking and communication skills when they debated such topics as: ‘This house would require all students in First World countries to spend a gap year volunteering in Third World countries.’ Here are Tseng Enkhsaikhan, Joyti Suri, James Sayce, Donald Ma, Fergus You and Melania Kovalenko celebrating their success.
