I graduated from University of Leicester with a first class degree in physics, winning the Samuel and Rachel May Prize for the best academic performance in the department. The following year I got my PGCE in science, QTS, and master’s credits in education at the University of East Anglia. Since then I have been teaching Physics and Mathematics at A level, and I have experience of teaching Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE. I got into British Mensa at the age of thirteen. In my spare time I am an artist, and I used to play chess competitively for my county.
