Negem has a BSc degree in Computer Science in 1992. She has worked for many years with World Health Organisation (WHO) – United Nations – as head of Database Unit and Computer Programmer. She was responsible for designing and upgrading database systems to manage the organisation’s data. Negem also assisted WHO/HQ in Geneva to design and upgrade its Medical Equipment Database System.
She recently finished her Masters study and successfully achieved MSc in computing. She has submitted an excellent research on how to overcome barriers to students’ engagement with blended learning. She was awarded the first place among other students in the university.
Early 2020, Negem started working with Cardiff Sixth Form College as Database administrator.
