Dr Lorna Johnson

I graduated from Keele University with a first class honours degree in chemistry and history. I loved university so much that I stayed at Keele for a further four years completing a PhD in solid state chemistry. I completed a PGCE at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle and then had a short career at BP as an analytical chemist before having my family and then embarking on my teaching career. I have taught science and chemistry in several secondary schools over the past 12 years. I am also an examiner for AQA examination board. Outside of school, I am a big fan of musical theatre and I enjoy running to keep fit.
