Mr Thomas Goes to Prison

This Friday, Cardiff Sixth Form College’s Head of Boarding Mr Thomas will be going to jail, and before you start to worry it is to raise money for charity.

For his stint in prison, Mr Thomas will be raising money for Velindre, Wales’ premier cancer centre who provide care, support and treatment to cancer patients and their families. By donating to this noble cause you’ll both be doing an incredible act of good and keeping Mr Thomas out of the college.

Mr Thomas will be locked in a real cell at Cardiff Bay Police station on Friday night with only a blanket, bread and water provided for his stay. For every £100 raised Mr Thomas will have to stay in jail for 1 hour – the more money you donate the longer he stays in jail. The Superintendent and officers on location will be keeping a close eye on things throughout the night to make sure he doesn’t make a break for freedom/boarding.

Will prison change Mr Thomas? Only time will tell. The time he spends behind bars is also completely in your hands, so the more you donate the longer he will stay incarcerated. So dig deep!
