Clair has over 20 years’ experience in education, having studied Geography at degree level before completing a PGCE in Secondary Geography. She has worked across both the state and independent sectors and has held a range of middle and senior leadership roles. Most recently, Clair spent four years working in a British international school in Malaysia, gaining extensive experience in an international boarding and pastoral context.
She is particularly committed to student welfare and wellbeing, with a strong belief that all young people are most successful when educated in environments where they feel safe, supported and able to thrive. Her professional experience includes leading Humanities departments, overseeing pastoral care and safeguarding, and contributing to the strategic leadership of boarding provision.
Outside of her professional role, Clair enjoys running, travel and spending time with her three children.
