Cardiff Sixth Form College Cambridge has achieved outstanding results this year with its first cohort of A level students. The Cambridge campus, which opened in September 2022, is the second campus of the number one school in the UK, which has its first campus in Cardiff, and specialises in helping STEM students gain places to some of the worlds’ leading universities.
This year’s results saw just under half of all grades (47%) being graded A* at A level with one student achieving a stunning straight five A* grades. 25% of all students achieved four or more A* grades and 44% of the year group achieved A*s in three or more subjects.
63% of the student body achieved all A*-A grades and 67% were awarded four or more A grades at A level this year.
These stunning results have enabled the CSFC Cambridge students go onto leading universities around the world. 75% have gained places at QS top 100 universities worldwide, 8% gained Oxbridge places, 92% places at Russell Group Universities and 42% at the G5 universities of Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Imperial College and UCL.
“Our inaugural student body has achieved outstanding A Level results in the college’s first year of operation” said Principal Dr Julian Davies. “I, like them, will remember this special and momentous time and I congratulate them for their wonderful university destinations and for their commitment to a full realisation of what it means to be a CSFC Cambridge student.”
