Nine Year 12 students have this week been announced as the new Prefects for the 2017/18 academic year following a challenging and competitive application process.
Ashvin Arulnathan, from Malaysia, has been announced as the Head Boy alongside Tabitha Balogun, from Nigeria, as Head Girl – both pictured.
They will be supported by their team of prefects who are; Odunayo Salu, Bernard Ma, Sidharth Asnani, Ikenna Ibeanusi, Xinyu Ye, Kristina Abraamyan and Quinn Liang.
The prefects represent the diversity of the student body at CSFC coming from countries including Malaysia, Nigeria, Hong Kong, China, Russia and the UK.
CSFC staff look to the prefects to provide a crucial pathway of communication between college staff and students with regular meetings held throughout the year between the prefects, principal and other senior staff members. The prefects also oversee the running of college clubs and extra-curricular activities, organise the annual Christmas and Graduation balls, meet with and advise prospective students about the college alongside other duties.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our graduating prefect team who represented the college and student body during the 2016/17 academic year with a special mention to Head Girl Emma Davies and Head Boy Austin Tang, winners of this year’s Principal Award at our annual cultural event.
Congratulations to all the students who will be representing the college during the next academic year.
