The safety and wellbeing of our students is Cardiff Sixth Form College’s top priority. We work hard to perfect our safety procedures. We aim to keep students secure, whilst endeavouring to maintain their privacy and freedom.

Each student is issued with a security card. The card is necessary to access any area on our campus or at our accommodation. Our system aims to prevent unauthorised access, but also allow knowledge of student’s whereabouts in event of an emergency.

Student Support Officers are present 24/7 at our accommodation, patrolling and assuring safety. They work alongside the House Parents to provide optimal pastoral care. Students always have access to one of the college’s points of contact.

CCTV is used in the common areas of the accommodation and in all classrooms on campus.
