CSFC ‘exceeds expectations’ in recent ISI report

Recently, Cardiff Sixth Form College underwent a full three-day Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection in accordance with the UK government’s inspection regime.

This process is designed to ensure that all schools and colleges deliver quality educational programmes that fulfil national standards in terms of academic study, pastoral care and governance and leadership.

Here are some of the highlights from Cardiff Sixth Form College’s new ISI Inspection Report:

  • “The college exceeds expectations for the quality of education.”
  • ​”The quality of the curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements is excellent. Students receive an extremely good education in accordance with their objectives and the college’s aims.”
  • “Arrangements for the health, safety and welfare of students are excellent.”
  • “The effectiveness of governance, leadership and management is excellent.”

Speaking about the recent ISI inspection and report, Acting Principal, Gareth Collier said, “I am delighted to announce that once again Cardiff Sixth Form College has been graded as, ‘exceeding expectations for the quality of education’. I am extremely proud to be associated with the UK’s leading academic A-Level provider, and to be present when such positive validation of the efforts of all staff and students is gained from the Independent Schools Inspectorate.”
