UK Universities
-
In the last 50 years, universities have become one of the UK 's largest employers and also a major part of education.
-
With approximately 126 universities all over the UK at the moment, the range of courses available for students is vast. Not only do students have the option to go to university, they also have the option to attend Higher Education Institutions which are smaller but may offer courses not available at the local universities.
-
Qualifications obtained from UK institutions have international recognition. As a result there is intense competition, especially for courses in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Law.
-
The college therefore supports and guides the students at each stage of the university application process. Advice is given for the type of course that is suitable as well as which institution will fit the students aims and abilities. We also have a University Admissions Tutor to fine tune the advice.
-
As can be seen from the diagrams below, standard degrees and medical, veterinary and dentistry qualifications require GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
-
