Comments:
Having attended both a state school and CSFC the differences between them is very clear. At the college I have been academically stretched which has helped me in my studies. The teaching style is excellent as it allows for topics to be covered in a lot of depth and breadth. The college has also some fantastic opportunities outside the classroom, with links to the Goodwill Ambassador Programme and NASA. In addition, there is a fantastic social side to the college. My advice to students - take every opportunity that is given to you, dive in with both feet and you will have a fantastic time, and with a little hard work you can end up at your first choice of University!

Anne Barrett

A-Level Grades:
A*A*A*A*

Subjects Taken:
Mathematic, Chemistry, Biology & Physics

Studying:
Biochemistry at Oxford University

Comments:
I have found the college to be a supportive, hard working place to study where the staff and pupils are dedicated and ambitious. We all benefit from the low teacher:student ratio. Since starting at CSFC I have learnt that hard work can help you achieve whatever goals you set yourself. I have become more confident in myself and my abilities and have been inspired to aim high! I have got a place at Oxford - what more can I say!

Aysha Hadid

A-Level Grades:
A*A*A*A*

Subjects Taken:
Chemistry, Biology, Mathematic & Physics

Studying:
Medicine at Cardiff University

Comments:
CSFC is a small and friendly college where the staff are always willing to put 100% effort into helping every individual students with their problems, either academic or personal. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful about which universities to apply to and we are helped to arrange a lot of work experience placements. As a student I've learnt to be more organised with my work and have found the exam preparation that we do at the college very useful. Cardiff is a young and vibrant city where there is always something going on so it is a lively and exciting place to live. Cardiff University is in the city centre and the Student Union is one of the biggest in the UK!
