CSFC Tops League Tables for a 3rd Consecutive Year

Cardiff Sixth Form College has topped the Best Schools website for the third consecutive year. The award winning college has once again topped in both its categories - Top Co-Educational Boarding School and Top Sixth Form College, as well as once again topping the Senior School A Level Passes, which covers all schools who provide A Levels. This incredible achievement was even more impressive considering the growth the college has undertaken this past year in terms of student numbers.

CSFC's Executive Director Yasmin Sarwar, spoke of her pride at the college's achievement "As CSFC is a relatively young college it's immensely gratifying to have all our hard work recognised in this way. It's a testament to the hard work put in by both the students and staff, and a validation of the teaching methods and styles employed by the college. We fully intend to top these league for a fourth year running!"

Nine Cardiff Sixth Form College Students Offered Places at Cambridge or Oxford for 2013 intake

Nine students from Cardiff Sixth Form College started their New Year in the best possible way by celebrating being offered places to study at Cambridge or Oxford Universities.

Executive Director Yasmin Sarwar said “We are thoroughly delighted for each of these students, all of whom have worked exceptionally hard to secure their places at such prestigious universities. We are immensely proud of our spotless track record of obtaining desirable university places for all our students, and this reflects the great deal of effort put in by the students, academic staff and support staff. These represent 13% of our university offers, an amount which improves on last year’s 10% Oxbridge place offered. Given our significant growth in numbers between 2012 and 2013 this is especially pleasing.”
