‘Using Killer Genes to Fight Cancer’- Practical Workshop for Sixth Form Students

Qassim Malik, Anne Barrett and Aysha Hadid were invited to attend a Practical Workshop for Sixth Form Students held at Cardiff University School of Biosciences. The theme of the event was ‘Using Killer Genes to Fight Cancer’.  Students were not only given an insight into the field of Biochemistry, they also had the opportunity to insert genes into breast cancer cells!
