Senior Team Maths Challenge - from a student's perspective. Elaine Xie, one of the team members for the Senior Team Maths Challenge - which also included Yincong Liu, Hin Hong Tam and Alvin Law - tells us of her experience of the competition. The team came second in the regional heats, held at Cardiff University "It is my pleasure to take part in the Senior Team Mathematics Challenge at CSFC, in which we achieved 2nd place. The competition requires concentration, teamwork and cooperation. I found the competition challenging, but as I enjoy Maths it was also fun. From it I've learnt to not only trust my own judgement but to listen to the opinions of others." |
