Interview Workshop
The most important and key step in your application to University is the invitation to attend an interview. It’s your one chance to shine and prove to them that you’re even better in person than how you appear to be in your personal statement.

Securing your place in University is a stressful and often unknown process, and preparation is paramount to feel researched, knowledgeable and confident!
Cardiff Sixth Form College

This 3 day course is organised and ran by Anita Parbhoo, a medical student at Cardiff University, who has been coaching prospective students applying to University to study healthcare degrees such as Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Optometry and Veterinary Sciences.

Each student will have a mock interview which will be recorded, and detailed thorough feedback will be given. Students will also receive a CD/DVD of their recording with the feedback.

This mock interview will be based on the students’ choice of university and course. Upon registration students will need to give their personal statement and choices of university with courses 3 weeks before the course begins.

Teaching , discussion and advice is provided on each of the 3 days to assist with:
  • Personal statements
  • Body language & Posture
  • Eye Contact
  • Language & Manner
  • Clarity
  • Medical Ethics
  • Vocation Awareness
