CSFC's Services
We are pleased to consider applications from overseas students who are interested in spending their sixth form studies in the capital city of Wales.
Pastoral Care

It can be daunting to arrive in a new city and culture but Cardiff is a small and pleasantly safe city and we are confident that we are able to provide you with Pastoral Support from the first day of your arrival in the UK. We offer both an Induction and a Cultural Enrichment Programme (involving trips to areas of local interest) which will help you to feel at home in UK very quickly. We will advise you on all aspects of living in the UK from opening a bank account, knowing how the public transport system works and even registering with a doctor/dentist. From the first day of your course you will be allocated a named member of staff who you can contact in the event of any queries or concerns that
you may have, either academic or social. We are confident that we can help you quickly settle into a new city and college and that you will be able to thrive academically and enjoy all aspects of your time spent in Cardiff.

Accommodation

We are aware of how important it is to provide the type of accommodation that students want and we are able to offer three different types of living arrangements:

  • College Hall of Residence. A traditional type of student Hall of Residence which is divided into 48 flats each with 4/5 en-suite bedrooms with shared kitchen and coin operated laundry. Both catering and self-catering option are available.
  • Homestay. Some students prefer to live with a "Host Family" in a private house. Students live as part of the family and meals are provided.
  • College House: 4 rooms are available in college owned houses that have a shared kitchen which includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. Basic groceries and household items are provided. Both catering and self-catering option are available.
