Cardiff Sixth Form College is the only centre based in Wales to offer BMAT revision course. We'll guide you step-by-step towards achieving your best score. You'll build confidence and learn valuable test-taking skills through targeted lessons, guided question practice and dynamic instruction in score-raising strategies.

Classroom Lessons
The Cardiff Sixth Form College's BMAT classroom course consists of two full-day sessions. The targeted lessons focus on building critical thinking skills, and provide focused exam practice using the Cardiff Sixth Form College strategies for each question type. You will receive dynamic instruction guiding you through the concepts and time-saving techniques you must know to do your best on the BMAT, as well as in-depth guidance on how to write an effective essay under exam conditions. The course is taught by the Cardiff Sixth Form College -trained teachers, using the Cardiff Sixth Form College's proven strategies and techniques.

Strategy Book
The BMAT Strategy Book provides an introduction to multiple-choice aptitude tests, and detailed the Cardiff Sixth Form College strategies for the different question types found in the BMAT. It includes time management techniques, and score-building review sections to complete for homework. The Strategy Book also contains essay-writing guidelines and tips and sample essays, in addition to extra practice essay questions for self-study in the run-up to the test.

Three Full-length Practice Tests
The 2 full-length BMAT exams taken during class will increase your familiarity with BMAT-style test questions and will build your stamina and confidence. The third practice test is to be taken during self-study in the run-up to the test. Timing is extremely important on the BMAT. These practice tests will familiarize you with the test format and help you with time management so that you can answer the maximum number of questions correctly on test day.

Three Full-length Practice Tests
To increase your familiarity with UKCAT-style test questions and build your stamina, we offer one full-length UKCAT practice exam during class. Timing on the UKCAT is extremely important. Two additional full-length practice tests should be taken in your own time to practice pacing. This will enable you to answer the maximum number of questions correctly and bring you more confidence on test day.
